Banded Story:
I grew up in a musical household and began sitting in with my father's classic rock band at a very young age. I had the good fortune of attending Johnny Lee Lane's United States Percussion Camp (USPC) at Eastern Illinois University for 6 years beginning in 7th grade. That experience provided me with an opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers and performers in the world. Their commitment, encouragement, and kindness were a major influence on my decision to pursue percussion as a vocation. I still keep in touch with many of them.
