Artist Bio:

Ryan Bond is a percussionist currently located in Las Vegas, Nevada where he is completing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) under the mentorship of Dr. Dean Gronemeier and Dr. Timothy Jones. Prior to completing a Master of Music degree also at UNLV, he completed his Bachelor of Music degree at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah with an emphasis in commercial music. Bond has performed and given clinics internationally in Finland, Norway, and Sweden. He has also performed with Opera Las Vegas, Vegas City Opera, Southern Nevada Chamber Orchestra, and the Grammy-nominated UNLV Wind Orchestra serving as principal percussionist under the direction of Thomas G. Leslie. Notable artists he has worked alongside include John Patitucci, Eric Marienthal, and Bernie Dressel. Bond serves as a member of the Percussive Arts Society Health and Wellness committee and as the Nevada PAS chapter Treasurer.

Bond has been published multiple times in journals such as Percussive Notes, Rhythm! Scene, and Not So Modern Drummer.

In addition to his work as a performer, Bond actively gives clinics, instructs camps, adjudicates, and maintains a private studio, he works as a percussion specialist with the Las Vegas Youth Orchestras and the Clark County School District.
