Kevin KenneyMOUNT JULIET, TN, October 2, 2024... Mapex and Majestic Marching Percussion are thrilled to announce the addition of Kevin Kenney to their esteemed roster of artists. As a dynamic performer, clinician, arranger, and educator, Kevin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Mapex/Majestic family.

Kenney has held numerous roles with high-profile ensembles in the world of marching and concert percussion. Kenney has worked and performed with renowned groups including The Cadets, The Cavaliers, Music City Mystique, and Atlanta Quest. His leadership and commitment to excellence continue to leave a lasting impact on students and fellow educators nationwide.

Kenney holds a master’s degree in Percussion Performance from Texas Christian University and a bachelor’s degree in music education from Jacksonville State University. At TCU, he contributed to numerous ensembles, including the PASIC Indoor Drumline, steel bands, and the TCU Symphony Orchestra. His performance credentials extend to the Percussion Arts Society International Convention (PASIC), where he’s performed as a soloist and ensemble member. He is currently based in Atlanta, where he serves as the Assistant Band Director and Director of Percussion at Milton High School.
