Jupiter Winds, Mapex Drums, and Majestic Percussion are pleased to announce The Virtual Education Series for students and music teachers throughout the world, presented in partnership with the International Music Education Summit. As measures are taken to control the COVID-19 outbreak, many teachers are being asked to provide content virtually to their students, often without additional training and resources.  KHS America (Jupiter Winds, Mapex Drums & Majestic Percussion) wants to help music teachers provide weekly content to their students, direct from highly regarded professionals.

Every Thursday at 2pm EST between March 26 and April 30, KHS America artists will provide fun and educational live clinics for students, covering a variety of music education topics. Archived clinics will also be available for viewing or revisiting at your convenience after the live session.

The Virtual Education Series will include:

March 26th Patricia Islas “Understanding the Language of Music: Can You Even Write Bro?”
April 2nd   John Mlynczak  “Creating Music with Online Software”
April 9th Patrick Sheridan “Skill vs. Talent! Practice Smarter!!”
April 16th Andrew Hitz  “Unleashing Your Growth Mindset”
April 23rd Dom Famularo “The Cycle of Self-Empowerment”
April 30th Brent Turner & Ward Miller “Cultivating Leadership in Your Band: It Starts with You!”
