Artist Bio:

Chris Dighero is a performer and educator in Denver, Colorado. As a Colorado Native, Chris grew up in Thornton, Colorado where he discovered his passion for music at a very young age. Chris attended Colorado State University, and was fortunate enough to have studied under Dr. Eric Hollenbeck and Shilo Stroman while earning his Percussion Performance degree. In addition to his Percussion Performance Degree, he also earned his Business Administration degree with a Marketing Emphasis to help compliment his efforts in becoming an independent musician.
During his tenure at Colorado State, Chris was actively involved in multiple ensembles which included the University Orchestra, Principle Percussionist for the University Wind Ensemble, guest artists for the Jazz Big Band I and Combo I as well as a 5 year member of the Colorado State University Percussion Ensemble. In 2009, Chris was voted Most Valuable First Year Marching Band member by his peers, and in 2010 as a member of the CSU Percussion Ensemble, Chris had the opportunity to perform at the “New Music” session during P.A.S.I.C. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Chris can also be heard on the album, “Splendid Wood” that was released in the summer of 2013.

In his professional career, Chris has had the opportunity to perform at a variety of venues around the world. Some of his performances range from conventions/clinics in Arizona, Wyoming and North Dakota, all the way to performances for sold out crowds at Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Colorado, and overseas at the O2 Arena in London. He has been able to perform halftimes/intermissions and provide in game entertainment for the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Denver Broncos, Colorado Mammoth, Colorado Rapids, Colorado Rockies and Colorado Eagles. During the 2016-17 NBA Season, Chris was asked to perform overseas as part of the NBA Global Games: London with the Denver Nuggets. Chris is also an original cast member for the CBS Stage production of “Survivor: LIVE” while being hired by a New York based talent agency, RWS and Associates.

Currently, Chris is the Director/Captain of the Denver Nuggets’ Sky-LINE Drumline which was founded during the 2015-2016 season. In addition to that, he is a member of the Denver Broncos’ Stampede Drumline, Manager/Member of the trashcan percussion group “The Junkyard Dogs”, as well as a freelance percussionist playing drumset and auxiliary percussion for multiple groups around the Denver/Metro area. Chris is a proud endorser of Mapex Drums, and Majestic Percussion.
