Artist Bio:

Scott joined The United States Army in 2007, finished a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music in 2010 from The University of Southern Mississippi (while in the military), and now professionally plays the rudimental snare drum in The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, where he serves as the Snare Drum Section Leader. In this group, he's performed for Presidents George W. Bush and Barrack H. Obama, a plethora of foreign diplomats and military leaders from around the world, and millions of civilians around the globe. Some international performance highlights include 2012 Fortissimo in Canada and 2017 Basel Tattoo in Switzerland.

He was brought onboard as a Clinician/Instructor for "Summer Drummin' at Southern Miss" in 2012, 2013 and 2016, as well as the West Virginia Summer Percussion Camp in 2016; has given multiple clinics and rudimental presentations to elementary school, middle school, high school, and college percussion programs across the country; and has also performed as a Clinician at the 2010, 2014 and 2015 Percussive Arts Society International Conventions, as well as for the United States Association of Rudimental Drummers' 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Conventions. Scott began his current teaching affiliation as Percussion Captionhead of The West Springfield Marching Spartan Percussion program in the Fall of 2016.
