Artist Bio:

Majestic artist Eric Chun is a multi diversified talent and industry leader. Mr. Chun started music at the age of 4 in piccolo, piano, and percussion. He started improvisation at 10, and also was active as a young actor in plays and musicals. Mr. Chun began his professional career at 14, playing "Herb Alpert" music in a highly successful group during high school. He also began writing original material and singing. His early instructors, Henry VanDeGraff and Mildred Butler inspired diversity  and passion to be the best. Mr. Chun transferred to Cal Lutheran University in 1000 Oaks, Ca. and studied under Dr. Elmer Ramsey, Vera Daehlin, and Keith Purdue as a music major. He also took up Tenor sax and clarinet added to the flute and piccolo, drums, and piano. Vera Daehlins mastery of percussion and mallets, being Clair Mussers star pupil, brought out a passion in marimba and vibes. Mr. Chun spent the next 20 years in film acting, recreation work, teaching, touring, workshops, commercials, and television, working on shows such as Hour of Power, Rightous Apples, MASH, Princess Cruises, Holland America, studio work,Joy Luck Club and many other areas of performance, education, and business. He is a current member of SAG AFTRA, BOD N Focus Entertainment, Real Music Live, ASCAP, Recording Academy, NAMM, and BOD California Lawyers for the Arts. Mr. Chun founded the Commercial Music Degree program at American River College in Sacramento, in 1990. It is remained as a top music department and commercial program in the country. He is continues on faculty at ARC, owns Creative Music Services, is a UMG writer, tours and performs, hosts industry events, and is busy promoting music manufactures, and doing workshops.
