Artist Bio:

Multinstrumentist and Panamanian percussionist, formally studies orchestral percussion at the University of Panama, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in music orchestral percussion under the guidance of teacher Ella Ponce He has participated in multitudinous musical environments like percussionist, drummer, and citarist, composer and arranger. He has participated in several opportunities as a percussionist with the Panama Symphony Orchestra. He has worked in musical theater, under the direction of Dino Nuggent. He is Drummer of the Sanctuary Eben Ezer, and is member of the chamber group of the percussion chair of the University of Panama. Alexander incorporates the use of zither and psalteries from the Middle East and Asia to the Encinar group, being a pioneer in the use of these unconventional instruments in our region, with folkloric and unpublished musical material. Is a member of Encinar Quartet with citars and psalteries, percussion and composition of works.
