Shaun Schuetz

Instructor Maryville College and Pellissippi State Community College

Mr. Schuetz holds a bachelor of music degree in music history and literature with a performance certificate from Ohio University, a master of music degree in percussion performance from the University of Tennessee and a teaching license in K-12 instrumental music from Maryville College.


In addition to studying percussion under Guy Remonko, Roger Braun, F. Michael Combs, and Keith Brown, he has also studied tabla with Chandrajit Chartur Lal. Mr. Schuetz is the adjunct instructor of percussion at Maryville College and Pellissippi State Community College and was the lecturer of percussion at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville during the 2010-2011 school year.


Mr. Schuetz performs with the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra and the Knoxville Pipes and Drums. He is a member of the Percussive Arts Society and the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association.
